Barbara Czworka serves as the Town of Bethany Highway Superintendent, with her current term ending in December 2027. The Highway Department is dedicated to maintaining and improving the Town’s road network to ensure safe and efficient travel for residents and visitors.

Key services include road repairs and improvements, winter snow and ice removal, and the installation and maintenance of roadway safety features such as signage, striping, and guide rails. The department also manages roadside vegetation control, litter removal, drainage repairs and enhancements, and bridge maintenance. Through these efforts, the Highway Department plays a vital role in supporting the infrastructure and safety of the Town of Bethany community.
